- What was the biggest challenge you faced in this project? Did you overcome it? How? If not, why do you think you didn't? The biggest challenge that I faced in this project was making actual product. I learned a lot from this project but my product was unsuccessful. I couldn't seem to think of what I wanted to write so I gave up in a way. I stopped thinking so hard about my product and started researching more. Although this was a good thing because I ended learning a lot about creative writing, it was still a challenge for me because when I start a project I know that it is not good to give up so soon. I almost overcame this challenge when I was reading a book and I got inspired by the story and tried to start writing again. I think that in the future I will have to try a little harder to not get discouraged so quickly.
- What is the one thing you learned in the project that you will remember 10 years from now? Something that I learned in this project is that being engaged with one thing for 2 hours a day for a month is a bit hard. At least at the point of life I am in right now. I think that it may be helpful to take a break every once in a while and do something different with the project that you are working on instead of just worrying over one thing for the whole time.
- Do you think schools across America should have 20% projects? Why or why not? I think that schools in america should have the 20% project because it gives kids a chance to explore what they might want to do in the future in a professional environment without any negative consequences if they find they they do not like what they were studying. Also it gives a chance to see how having so much free time to do something affects how you work. It's helpful to learn how yourself as an individual works. Studying something that you are passionate about is good and it gives a taste of what work and college after high school will be like.
