WHAT I LEARNED
Art is used in everyday life to express people's ideas and feelings and talent. Sometimes you see artwork on the streets. This artwork means something to the artist. Art is a way for people to show the world what they have to offer, similar to musicians. Art is used as a means of communication because through paintings, stencils, sculptures, etc., people can express ideas of politics, love, thoughts of concern, and many other things. Artists create preliminary plans because in the plans they let their ideas flow and if they make a mistake that they don’t like they can change it in the final plan. If they make a mistake that they end up liking then there would be no harm done. There are a few problem solving skills that people use when making art. If you make a mistake you can either flow with it and change you original idea of you can cover it up with something new. Art is a very expressive and objectively beautiful practice.

We had many ideas for our movie project. We started filming one idea but then we changed the theme of the movie a couple times until we settled on the idea of a detective looking for a woman's missing cat. First, we gathered materials such as props and the camera and the tripods. Then we had to look for actors in our group of peers friends and family. When we started filming some of the scenes, we had to focus on the angles and lighting before we focused on the acting. One thing that really helped the project take off was the example videos we watched in class.

Teacher Creature
For this teacher creature project, I chose a forest background. I then chose photos separately and pasted what I wanted onto the forest scene. For example, I removed the bear photo from its background and then a copied a image of the tree in the forest scene and put it on top of the bear layer to make it look like the bear was hiding behind the tree. I used Edward from Twilight's body in the front and then I copied a picture of the teacher onto the Edward-layer. I then took a brush and turned down the opacity and made it a pale color to try to make the face skin look the same as the other skin. I think the hardest part of this project was making the images look like they belonged with the background. Some of the images i used, such as the one of Bella was cut off at the knees so i had to copy and past a lot of the grass to make it look believable. My favorite part of this project was being creative with wear i wanted to put the images and also what images I wanted to put on there.
